Migrant Workers
This training is tailored to the entertainment industry and is part of a new approach to Health and Safety enforcement, providing training in key topic areas which are of high risk to your business, to help you develop a positive health and safety culture in your organisation. It will also update you on the changes in the law on noise which comes into force for the entertainment industry in April 2008.
These half day events are for proprietors and managers of entertainment venues. The training will consist of short, fifteen minute lectures or practical sessions in the following subjects, with support material and information leaflets provided:
- Risk Assessment – why and how
- Slips and Trips
- Work at Height
- Duty to Manage Asbestos
- Electrical Safety
- Cellar Safety including Manual Handling and Confined Spaces
- The New Noise Regulations
Events are being held across Devon with a limited number of places, so we can only accept a maximum of two delegates from each business.
