i-Bay

i-Bay is Torbay’s cross-agency intelligence network. It was originally established in response to the development of the Join Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) but has since developed into a formal partnership which sits under the Local Strategic Partnership and supports the reporting of intelligence which is used to improve the understanding of Torbay and its population.

The objectives of i-Bay are to:

Improve the understanding across agencies in Torbay of the wider social and economic challenges experienced in the population
Provide strategic intelligence to the local strategic partnership and the strategic commissioning partnerships
Continually provide efficient and reliable data with analytical interpretation to the strategic commissioning partnerships to enable them to review their strategic objectives and priorities.
Continuously maintain a strategic information repository with the latest up-to-date (tier 3 JSNA for Torbay)

i-Bay meet on a quarterly basis and the work plan is endorsed by the local strategic partnership executive.
