Get Involved

There are a number of ways that you can get involved in overview and scrutiny at Torbay, you can:

• suggest an idea for an overview and scrutiny review
• be involved in a review yourself
• attend public meetings
• email or write to us with your comments
• take part in any active consultation activities (for example online questionnaires)

Dive into the Community Pool

If you would like to be involved in overview and scrutiny reviews, you can also join the Community Pool.

The Community Pool is a relatively new initiative which enables members of the public to actively take part in a review and discuss their views with the panel. By joining the Community Pool you can also be kept updated on the progress and developments of a review.

Keeping Updated

To help keep the public updated about what's happening in Overview and Scrutiny at Torbay, a quarterly newsletter/email is sent to stakeholders and members of the Community Pool.
