Extended Services Audit

Audit of Provision - June 2006:

The Local Authority has undertaken an audit of existing and planned Extended Services in Schools provision. An electronic audit tool, developed by Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and now used by 30 Local Authorities nationwide, was adapted to be Torbay-specific. The audit is now complete and school-specific packages will be circulated to the 37 participating schools for their information and consideration.

The data relates to the Extended Schools Core Offer and to Every Child Matters outcomes, and will be useful to the schools for purposes of their SEF (Self Evaluation Form) and for the new Ofsted integrated inspections.  The data will also inform the planning process in respect of future Extended Services in Schools developments, on a cluster-wide and Torbay-wide basis.
