Is lack of money stopping a participant do the Award?
Each of the Award Regions have some funds available, after raising money from our 50th Anniversary celebrations, to help Award Participants complete one of their Award Sections. The Jubilee Fund was set up specifically to help participants access the activities they want to do for their Award but which they could not normally afford. Do you have any famous friends?
Do you keep seeing your friends on TV or reading about them in the press? If so we need your help! We need to get to know more celebrities and successful sports people who might be willing to help us, by attending events, meeting young people and speaking to the media on our behalf. They could do as little or as much as they are able to – the key things are that they are well known and they are willing to support our cause. So if you know anyone who could help us make a big splash, please email Madeleine Barnes on madeleine.barnes@theaward.org for an informal chat.
