Access

Sadly, as with many Victorian buildings, access for disabled customers is far from ideal. However, this has been vastly improved following the recent refurbishment and access to all areas of the theatre is now much more user friendly. Our staff are always on hand to assist wherever possible so please do not hesitate to ask if you need any help.

Box Office

There is now a ramp leading into the Box Office area of the theatre to allow for easier access. The ticket office itself has a lowered counter.

Theatre

There is a ramp into the Theatre and seats are allocated for wheelchairs as required. Please ensure you let the Box Office staff know when booking of any requirements. We also have a hearing loop within the auditorium which is operational for all performances.

Bar

Access to the bar is via the auditorium on the flat, but as the bar is a very congested area during the intervals we would recommend ordering interval drinks in advance.

Toilets

There is a disabled toilet adjacent to the auditorium, close to the wheelchair positions.

Backstage

The backstage areas of the theatre are not generally accessible, but special arrangements can be made as required.

The Theatre staff will be pleased to help in any way possible, and may we suggest ringing the Box Office on (01803) 665800 prior to the performance in order for us to make any necessary arrangements so you can enjoy the show.
