Torquay Harbour - Waterfront Regeneration Phase 3
The regeneration of Torquay's waterfront is now complete.
Torbay Development Agency and the South West RDA have worked closely together to produce waterfront improvements to the facilities and public area at Beacon Quay which have benefited pedestrians, businesses and other users of the area.
The works that have been delivered include:-
- Widening of Beacon Quay
- Creation of new public slipway
- Enhanced lighting, street furniture, signage and public art
- Walkway alongside the quay
- Facilities for the hosting of new events including sailing championships, cruise ship visits and maritime festivals
