Donation Seats
There are three options available for having a donation seat in a park or seafront location.
Option 1
A new memorial seat can be installed in place of an existing undedicated seat. The type of seat used, either a Chepstow or a Cavandish, depends on the type of seat already present in the chosen area.
Unfortunately we are unable to install additional memorial seats to areas that have an over provision of seating and also where there are not any un-dedicated seats for removal.
Alternatively, we have two further options available.
Option 2
The refurbishment of an existing undedicated seat.
Option 3
The "plaque only" request, is the installation of a memorial plaque to an existing un-dedicated seat in one of Torbay's Parks and Garden.
If you wish to donate a memorial seat you may do so by simply completing the memorial form available and confirming which of the three options you would like to pursue.
Memorial seat applications for new seats (option one), refurbishments (option 2) and "plaque only" (option 3) requests are processed and carried out all year round.

Fees 2008
(until 31 March 2009)- Option 1 - New memorial seat in place of £550.00 (Chepstow Seat) or £750.00 (Cavandish Seat)
- Option 2 - Refurbishment of an existing and undedicated seat £550
- Option 3 - Plaque only for an existing and undedicated seat £95
Fees from 1 April 2009
- Option 1 - Cavandish seat with concrete base £1100.00
- Option 1 - Cavandish seat without concrete base £800.00
- Option 1 - Chepstow seat with concrete base £950.00
- Option 1 - Chepstow seat without concrete base £650.00
- Option 2 - Refurbishment request £600.00
- Option 3 - “plaque only” request £120.00
