Emergency Duty Team
Anyone requiring urgent attention outside of the Social Services office opening hours can contact the Emergency Duty Team(EDT), please note that contact can be made by 'telephone only' & will be relayed by pager.
Our Aims
- To respond to a range of calls including those with concern about children and their welfare.
- To respond to all out-of-hours social service crisis situations including the elderly / vulnerable or those experiencing difficulties with services.
- To offer support to in-service clients e.g. foster carers.
- To provide immediate services to children in need of protection.
