Brixham Park & Ride
Brixham's popular park and ride is set to become a permanent fixture during the fishing port's multi-million pound regeneration.
The proposed four-year project will require three out of the five main car parks in Brixham to be closed at varying times which inevitably will put pressure on parking in Brixham town centre.
As a result Torbay Council in partnership with Stagecoach Bus Company will be operating the park and ride at Churston throughout the regeneration period and work will be carried out to make it suitable for all weathers. Work to procur the new surfacing has started, the ground will be prepared with a covering to prevent it from becoming waterlogged during the winter. New street lighting will also be installed in preparation for the darker evenings.
2008 Times and Prices
The park and ride will operate from Good Friday and will remain open until the end of October.
Opening hours: 8.30am to 6.30pm
Fares:
- Adult return - £1.30
- Child return - 90p
- Family Return Ticket - £3.00
- Return dog ticket - 75p
