BSF Torquay Community College Rebuild

The Building Schools for the Future Pathfinder project at Torquay Community College is now complete; three years after works began on site. It is a stunning 21st century building that provides stimulating learning environments and educational opportunities. This has been demonstrated by improved Ofsted results at the latest inspection in December 2010; the college achieved 'outstanding' in several areas.

It provides upgraded sports facilities which will benefit both students and the local community. The college also delivers a variety of courses for adult community and learning. Other features include environmentally friendly adaptations such as rain water harvesting and using PVP for electricity.

The project was delivered to within budget of £29m.

We hope that it will continue to provide excellent prospects for students and the community long into the future!
