Parking Signs

If you are in doubt where, or for how long you can park, check the markings on the road or car park and any nearby signs. More information can also be found in the Highway Code: Signs and Markings opens in a new window website.
Footways and verges are part of the highway and are covered by any yellow lines on the carriageway alongside them. If you park on the footway or verge next to a yellow line you may be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN).
For further information on parking signs and road markings please contact Parking Services.
