Residents Parking Permits


The Council operates a number of controlled parking zones (CPZs) in Torbay. These are areas where parking is restricted or reserved for permit holders only.
Residents living within one of the CPZs can buy a resident parking permit, if their vehicle is registered at their address within the CPZ. The permit entitles you to park in any residents' bay in your CPZ.
The cost of each permit is £30.  The charge will be reviewed annually.
Initially up to two permits per household will be issued, a separate application form for each permit must be completed.

Visitor Parking

Visitors wishing to park within the CPZ will be required to display a visitor permit if they wish to park during the enforcement period of the CPZ.  The cost of these permits are £10.00 for a book of 10 and will only be available to residents within the zone for issue to their visitors. A maximum of 10 books (100 permits) a year will be provided to each property.
Please note Visitor Permits are valid for a period of 12 months from month of issue and are non-renewable upon expiry.

Spaces

Within the controlled parking zone there are limited resident parking bays.  Use of these bays during the enforcement periods will be for valid permit holders subject to availability.  Purchase of an annual or daily permit does not guarantee access to a parking bay.
